Battery Japan

Date&Time: February 25-27, 2015, 10:00-18:00 (10:00-17:00 on Feb.27)
Venue: Tokyo Big Sight

Fraunhofer Battery Alliance is goint to have a booth at Battery Japan!

  • Lithium-Sulfur-Battery (Fraunhofer IWS, picture: above)

Development of lithium-sulfur and room temperature. Natrium-sulfur-battery cells as generation post-lithium-ions.

  • FSEM Battery Block (Fraunhofer ILT, picture: middle)

Production engineering for contacting several 18650-cells to one block using laser beam welding (contacting of both poles from above).

  • Redox-Flow-Battery (Fraunhofer ICT, picture: below)

Redox-flow batteries store energy in a liquid electrolyte. The stored energy is held in external tanks and can be converted when needed in the conversion unit. Storage systems based on redox-flow technology can therefore be adjusted to the specific application.

  • Lithium-Polymer Cells (Fraunhofer ISIT, no picture)
