In all energy scenarios for the future renewables play a major part. Especially in the photovoltaics field, German and Japanese researchers are at the forefront of technological developments. The Second German-Japanese Solar Day on November 13 will offer a forum for exchange between the German and Japanese business community, representatives from administration and scientists about the potentials and the challenges of photovoltaics in both markets.
