Recently, remarkable progress has been made in the field of PERC and MWT-PERC solar cell development. Efficiencies exceeding 20% for p-Type devices on industrial level seem to be within reach and are demonstrated on small scale. This talk will focus on the recent developments in this field and will address the remaining challenges to be met for successful market penetration of this very promising structures.
