Coatings with an adjustable electrical conductivity can be realised. The coating can be applied on the substrate to be heated (e.g., window) and contacted by means of two electrodes. From the applied voltage, as a result of electrical resistance of the coating, electrical energy is converted to heat. IPA shows the Current film with the highest transparency, which is 85% with 150 Ω/Sq.
