The Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM wants to help make the difference. Together with the Research Center for Microperipheric Technologies at the TU Berlin, the Fraunhofer IZM represents an efficient research, development and service potential, especially in the areas of System Integration, Wafer Level Integration, Materials, Reliability and Sustainable Development as well as Design and Sustainable System Development.

Fraunhofer IZM has a long history in Japan. We have close cooperations with industrial clusters such as the Sendai Intelligent Knowledge Cluster as well as with research institutes. Several bilateral projects with companies in Japan were successfully carried out.
