IZM signed Memorandum of Understandning on "Nanotechnology and Environmental Engineering"

Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM (Berlin) Environmental Engineering Department signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on research cooperation and joint research regarding "Nanotechnology and Environmental Engineering" with National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Hybrid Materials Center in Japan.
Under this agreement, the Environmental Engineering Department of Fraunhofer IZM and the Hybrid Materials Center of NIMS will exchange researchers and information, as well as promote the joint research in five topics: social impact of the nanotechnology, environmental relevant information focused on the life cycle of products, risk of nano materials, applied nanotechnology focused on electronics and eco-friendly technologies from the nature.
