  • Lithium-Sulfur-Battery (Fraunhofer IWS, picture: above)

Development of lithium-sulfur and room temperature. Natrium-sulfur-battery cells as generation post-lithium-ions.

 

 

 

 

  • FSEM Battery Block (Fraunhofer ILT, picture: middle)

Production engineering for contacting several 18650-cells to one block using laser beam welding (contacting of both poles from above).

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Redox-Flow-Battery (Fraunhofer ICT, picture: below)

Redox-flow batteries store energy in a liquid electrolyte. The stored energy is held in external tanks and can be converted when needed in the conversion unit. Storage systems based on redox-flow technology can therefore be adjusted to the specific application.
