The Fraunhofer HHI will present his research and development activities at the FIBER OPTICS EXPO 2011 from April 13th – 15th, at booth No. 43-34.
A major aim of R&D at Fraunhofer HHI’s department Photonic Networks and Systems is to apply new technologies for high-capacity optical communications. Our world-class results include Terabit/s transmission per wavelength channel, coherent systems beyond 100G, real-time FPGA-based digital signal processing up to 32 GSamples/s, and LED-based indoor wireless optical communications up to 800 Mbit/s using infrared or visible light.
